ALL units need to attend our annual program preview on Thursday, May 18, 2018 when each unit will receive two program preview guides for the 2017-18 program year. This will be very helpful when each unit is having an annual program planning meeting. This will also be a fun evening to network with Scouters in other units to get a variety of ideas of programs. The evening theme will be "Hawaiian" and pineapple ice cream sundaes will be served!
Texas Skies District Committee and Commissioners meeting will be meeting at the First United Methodist Church in Canton on the 1st Thursdays of the month at 7:00PM and our monthly Roundtable will be at FUMC in Canton on the 2nd Thursdays of the month at 7:00PM. We need all units to make every effort to attend Roundtable for very important information about district and council events as well as training for all of our Scouters. This is very much appreciated and your Scouts will be the true benefactors of your time and effort.

Roundtables play a significant role in providing continuous supplemental training for unit leaders. This monthly event provides program topic guidance and structure suggestions for unit leaders. A fun environment creates excitement around the coming month of activities and program for unit leaders to carry back for implementation in their units.
